Our
purpose at Conway Christian School is to assist parents in
scripturally training their children to be like Christ. We
are dedicated to equipping our students to attain the highest
standards scholastically, socially, and spiritually. Our goal
is to produce academic growth and to develop Godly character.
CCS is a nurturing environment filled with joy, acceptance,
and Christ-like love and concern.
Academic
standards are high with emphasis on character training and
patriotism. CCS offers outstanding instruction by well-qualified
teachers. Our faculty and staff are committed to the total
development of the student in accordance with our philosophy
of education. Because our staff seek to live a life that honors
God and believe that He has called them to this place of service,
their desire is to teach children to love and honor Him.
Conway
Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian
School International (ACSI). Faculty and staff take advantage
of the training, conferences, and seminars provided by ACSI.
The
elementary division is composed of K4 through 6th grade. We
use the A Beka curriculum. A strong phonics-based reading
program is emphasized that lays the foundation for language,
science, history, and mathematics. By the third grade, students
that have gone through our reading program can read basically
anything. Our elementary achievement test scores average in
the top 20% nationally.
Students
memorize scripture weekly and have age appropriate chapels
each week. School staff, area pastors, and classes lead the
chapel services. Parents are always welcome.
Students
enjoy a pleasant loving environment while Christian values
and Bible instruction give character and morals to daily life.
We
continue to seek God's direction as we move forward to be
on the cutting edge of academic excellence while building
to accommodate increased demands of families who are committed
to a Christian educational experience for their school age
children. Partnering with families to turn out graduates who
are well-equipped to be business, family, and community leaders
is the heart of our vision and planning.
We
give God all the glory as we celebrate ten years of Christ-centered
education! |
