  • Kindergarten students should not order lunches for Tuesday, May 12th. They will be having a picnic lunch.

CCS Cereal Drive: During the summer months, many families lose access to school meals, making the need for food assistance critical. We are proud to partner with THV11 and The Arkansas Foodbank for this year’s Summer Cereal Drive to help bridge this gap for students in our community.

From April 27th to May 8th, we will be collecting: boxes of cereal, granola bars, PopTarts and instant oatmeal. There are drop-off locations at both the elementary and upper school.

Let’s win the Cheerio! Award! As a first-year participant, CCS is eligible for the Cheerio! Award, given to the new team that collects the most cereal. Let’s show our Eagle pride and bring home a win during our very first year!

POP TOP TABS DRIVE: CCS is excited to be participating in the pop top tab program to benefit the Ronald McDonald Charities of Arkansas. Their organization provides a “home away from home” including lodging and meals for families of children facing extended hospital stays in Little Rock. They also host a NICU family room at UAMS as well as a mobile dental unit that provides free dental care to schools around Arkansas. Let’s pull together to make a difference! www.rmhcarkansas.org

  • Start saving aluminum pop top tabs from drink cans at home
  • Collection dates at CCS: May 9, 2025-May 14, 2025
  • You can send them to school in a Ziploc bag and drop them off in designated baskets.

Extended Care Information: There will be NO early morning or after school extended care on the last day of school, Friday, May 15th.

Preschool/Elementary Room Moms Needed: We are seeking volunteers to serve as Room Moms for our PreK3-4th grade classrooms for the 2026-27 school year.

Room Moms play an important role in supporting teachers and helping create a positive, connected classroom environment. Responsibilities may include coordinating class events, assisting with communication between families and teachers, and organizing occasional activities or celebrations.
