Lunch Orders Due, PTF No Uniform Day, Faulkner County Fair Parade and more

CCS Off the Clock with the Conway Chamber of Commerce: We invite you to join us on Tuesday, September 29th from 5:00 - 7:00 as we celebrate God’s blessings and our new high school facilities. You will enjoy tours of the new building and food from local restaurants. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Faulkner County “America 250” Fair Parade: TODAY at 5:00pm-Downtown Conway
If your child would like to participate and sit on the float, or walk next to it, please read the following information:
-report to the CCS float by 4:30pm the day of the parade. It will be parked downtown on Faulkner Street, in front of the old Faulkner County Museum. (Look for the float with the giant red ship!)
-Students must be accompanied by one of their own parents on the float during the parade! So parents, wear comfy shoes and be prepared to walk.
-Students/Parents wear Red, White, and Blue! Bonus if it’s CCS spirit gear!
-You can also dress up in colonial “founding fathers” attire. Example- George Washington, Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Lady Liberty.
-Colonial Tricorn hats will be provided to kids, first come first serve.
PTF No Uniform Fundraiser: The September PTF no uniform day fundraiser will be this Thursday, September 24th.
- NEW THIS YEAR! There is a Prepay option to pay ahead for ALL No Uniform days for the Entire year! You can access this on the PTF Square account below. Lower school students may also still bring their $5 on the morning of the no uniform day and pay at the front office. Middle and high school students can turn in their money at their offices to Mrs. Hawkins, Mrs. Turner, or PTF parent. In addition, parents may pay for the single day through PTF’s Square account, which can be accessed here: https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/
- Rules for No Uniform Days:
Students may wear hats and caps (no hats or caps in the classroom), sportswear including athletic pants or shorts of uniform length, and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops. Dress must be modest and neat.
Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of September 28th - October 16th will close at midnight this Thursday, September 24th. This order cycle includes lunches for the week following Fall Break.
Give Like Dolly Day: The Faulkner County Imagination Library will celebrate "Give Like Dolly Day" this Friday, September 25, 2026. The day will be part of a nationwide effort led by the Dollywood Foundation to annually recognize Dolly Parton’s philanthropic impact through the Imagination Library program.
UCA Outreach will partner with the Faulkner County Library this Friday to promote "Give Like Dolly Day" and the Imagination Library's mission. From noon to – 4:00 pm, children will rotate between three areas or stations that will provide some sort of background or setting of the particular story that will be read to them. Local community leaders and supporters of the program will serve as readers. At the conclusion of the three stories, they will receive a refreshing treat. Reading circuits will begin every 20 minutes starting at Noon.
Parents, daycares and preschools, bring out your child up to age 5 for a fun time and a refreshing treat. Also, while you’re at the library, get a library card at no cost to help your little one gain a love for books!
