Supply List correction, Parent Orientation and Open House Details, Eagles Nest, Important Traffic Update and more

Supply Lists: On Monday, we learned our local Target store had the incorrect supply lists. We contacted the store and the lists were pulled by noon Monday, July 26th. If you used one of these lists displayed at Target to purchase school supplies before noon this past Monday, please check it against the list on our website to be sure you have the correct supplies. Here is the correct supply list for CCS.
Parent Orientation: Parent Orientation will be held in the gym on Monday, August 2nd at 6:00pm as well as streamed online via the school’s YouTube page. We ask for all parents to attend either in person or online. Students are not required to attend.
Lower School Open House: Every year we set aside time for our younger students to meet their new teacher and bring school supplies. This year’s Open House will be held Tuesday, August 3rd. To help limit the number of people on campus at one time, we have divided Lower School Open House into the following schedule.

8:30 - 10:30: Students with last names beginning with A - L

10:30 - 12:30: Students with last names beginning with M - Z

Campus Closes at 12:30
Upper School Open House: Students may come to the Upper School anytime between 8:30 and 12:30 to set up lockers, meet the teachers or meet with Mr. Harrison or Mrs. Lea. This is not required. Campus will close at 12:30 except for 7th grade boot camp.
Traffic Pattern For Families with Upper and Lower School Students: Due to the construction of our new building we will not be able to drive around the east end of the school (through the gravel lot) during the 2021-22 school year. All families who have Upper School and Lower School students (2nd grade and up) can drop off at the Upper School entrance area. Lower School students will go through the door in the wall that connects our two buildings. Upper School students will enter the main entrance by the office. If you have an Upper School student and a student in 1st grade or lower we will need you to drive around to the Lower School carpool line to drop off your child.
Eagles Nest Open Online: The Eagles Nest will be available online starting Friday, July 30th. Please browse our new apparel items for the upcoming 2021-22 school year at your convenience. We will send all purchases home with your student. When placing your order, please remember to add your student’s name and homeroom teacher in the notes section.
Home Room Mom Sign-Up: If you are willing to serve as room mom in your child’s class, or you would like to assist the room mom, please complete this form and return to your child’s teacher by Monday, August 16th.
