Inclement Weather Policy: Tonight forecasters are calling for a slight chance of winter precipitation in our area. Here are a few ways you can find out if our school is impacted. 

1.  If Conway Public Schools close their campuses, our campus will be closed as well. So, if you see that on TV, online, etc. know Conway Christian will have a snow day instead of having students on campus. This will be a traditional snow day with no virtual work. 

2.  If you can’t find information on Conway Public then make sure you check your email. If school is delayed or closed you will receive an email from Mr. Carson by tomorrow morning at the latest.

3.  We will do everything within our power to make a decision by 6:00 AM in the morning at the very latest. If you are hesitant at all, based on where you live and any potential hazardous road conditions, just choose to be safe. Your safety is always more important than being at school on time. 

4.  In case of canceled school, all lunch orders will be credited to your family’s FACTS account. 

Grandparent’s Day: This year Grandparent’s Day will be held on Friday, February 17th. The program is for PK-6th grade students. Our JH and SH students will have a virtual day instead of being on campus. Our PK-1st grade program will begin at 9:00 followed by our 2nd-6th grade program at 10:30. For grandparents who will attend both there will be refreshments and tours of the new building between the two events. We will send more detailed information in the coming days but please note there will be no extended care after early dismissal on Grandparent’s Day.

2023-24 Key Calendar Dates: Please see your email for the key dates for the 2023-24 school year.

Lunch Orders Open: Lunch orders for the weeks of February 6th - 17th are open. Orders will close at the end of the day Thursday, February 2nd.

PTF No Uniform Fundraiser: The January PTF no uniform day fundraiser will be this Thursday, January 26^th. Lower school students may bring $5 on the morning of the no uniform day and pay at the front door. Upper school students can turn in their money at the office to Mrs. Burbank. In addition, parents may pay ahead of time through PTF’s Square account, which can be accessed here: https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/

On no uniform days, students may wear hats and caps (no hats or caps in the classroom), sportswear including athletic shorts (shorts must be uniform length), and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops or pajamas. Dress must be modest and neat.

CCS Band/Choir Candy Gram Fundraiser: The CCS band and choir are sponsoring a Valentine’s Day Candy Gram fundraiser. If you would like to order a treat to be delivered on Valentine’s Day, please complete and return the attached order form with your payment by this Friday, February 3rd. Please see the order form, or contact Mrs. Bradley at dbradley@conwaychristianschool.net for more details.

Eagles Nest:  Get your Conway Christian winter items now!  We have restocked with new sweatshirts for youth and adults. We are very excited to announce that we will be opening soon in our new location for in-person shopping!! Watch for updates on the time and location of the re-opening!

Elementary Cheer Halftime Performance: The Elementary cheerleaders will cheer at halftime of the senior girl’s basketball game on Tuesday, February 7th. Mrs. Lea has emailed elementary cheerleaders. Please RSVP by February 3rd.
