Spring Picture Reminder and CCS Auction

Eagle Weekly: Special Edition
Lower School Spring Pictures: The lower school will have spring pictures taken on Monday, March 14th. This is a fundraiser for our school and a portion of picture sales will be given to Conway Christian. Lower school students will not have to wear school uniforms on this day, please do not wear green. You should have received a flyer from your child’s teacher. In a few weeks, your child will bring home a proof with ordering instructions, no payments are needed at this time. All students who have not had their picture taken for the CCS yearbook in the fall, will also have their picture taken at this time, and need to wear a red, navy, or white polo shirt.
CCS Auction: The 5th annual Conway Christian auction will take place exclusively online this year during the week of April 4-8, 2022. Before the auction, an email will be sent via Eagle Weekly with a link to all the items in the auction. We encourage you to share this link with your family and friends so everyone can bid on the wonderful items that will be auctioned. Proceeds from the auction will be used to help support our students and teachers in the classroom and around campus. If you or your business are interested in donating items or services for the auction, or if you are aware of someone outside of the school who would like to donate items to be auctioned, we would welcome those donations as well. Please contact a member of the PTF listed below if you have any questions.
Each grade will collect items for a basket that will be auctioned. In the past, these baskets have raised a significant amount of money for our school and are always a great addition to our auction. Your room moms will be in contact with you regarding your grade’s basket and will be collecting all the items. All items should be turned in to the school by March 18th (the Friday before spring break begins).
We hope this year’s auction is a great success! Thank you for your continued support of CCS.
The following is a list of each grade's basket theme.

Pre K2-K4: Movie/Family Fun Night (movie gift cards, board games, playing cards; bowling, skating, miniature golf, etc. gift cards)

Kindergarten: Local (products or gift cards from Conway-owned businesses)

1st grade: Sports basket (outdoor/stadium chairs, cooler, cups, blankets, sunflower seeds, gum, etc.)

2nd grade: Summer/road trip (beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray, road trip games, snacks, etc.)

3rd grade: Backyard Fun (fire pit, bag-o, s’mores supplies, etc.)

4th grade: Gift Cards/Date Night (gift cards to restaurants, fun date night activities, a small getaway)

5th grade: Sweets and Treats (ice cream/snow cone maker; ice cream bowls; Rita’s, Marble Slab, Great American Cookie Company, Maggie’s, Patticake’s, Andy’s gift cards; ice cream toppings, ice cream scoop, etc.)

6th grade Garden Basket: (flowers, seeds, gift cards to the plant outlet, gardening tools, water hose, etc.)
