Parent Survey Reminder: We want your feedback! Please follow this link https://www.conwaychristianschool.org/ to access your Parents Web account. Once there, login to your account and take 10-15 minutes to let us know how this year has gone for your family. All answers are completely anonymous. We appreciate your partnership!
 
CCS Yearbook Recognized: Our 2018-19 yearbook program, under the direction of Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs. Gallahar, has been named a 2019 Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence. This award was presented for creating an inclusive yearbook, generating school engagement and successfully managing the yearbook creation process. Congratulations Yearbook staff and Go Eagles!
 
Tinkerfest: Conway Christian will be participating in Tinkerfest during Toad Suck Daze, Saturday, May 4th. We need volunteers to help cover our booth from 10am to 5pm. During the event, children and parents stop by and play with Magnetic Slime and create Spin Art. Sign up for an hour or more and help us showcase Conway Christian! Kids Run Arkansas Results: Thank you to all our parents and students that participated in Kids Run Arkansas.  Thanks to your participation, Conway Christian came in 3rd place overall and will receive a check from Conway Regional Health & Fitness for $1,200 for our P.E. program. Mrs. Irons’ and Mrs. Morgan’s 2nd grade classes had the highest participation and will receive an extra recess and a popsicle party.
 
Yearbooks will be distributed tomorrow. We have a few extra copies available. The cost is $55. If you’d like to purchase one, send cash or check to the lower school office, attention: Sherry Cunningham, Yearbook, and include your student’s name and grade.

Early Dismissal, Parent Survey and more

Early Dismissal Tomorrow: We will have early dismissal tomorrow for teacher and staff professional development. The lower school will dismiss at 1:10 and the upper school will dismiss at 1:20.

Annual Golf Tournament:  The annual booster club golf tournament is scheduled for April 29th at Centennial Valley Country Club.  To sponsor or register for the event, please sign up here:  https://squareup.com/store/conway-christian-booster-club/.

Parent Survey: We will be sending out a parent survey this Thursday, April 25th. Please take the time to complete and submit this survey when you receive it. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways in which CCS can improve.

Choir Spring Concert:  The CCS Choir will perform their Spring Concert tonight at 6:30pm, at Harlan Park Baptist Church.  

CCS Plant Sale: This Thursday our Upper School agriculture/horticulture class will be selling a few garden plants that have been grown in our very own greenhouse. They will set up in the Lower School traffic loop. Plan on stopping by and buying some plants for your garden or for a friend. They will be selling tomato plants and basil.

Good Friday: There will be no school this Friday, April 19th in observance of Good Friday.

Baby Bottles Due, Teacher Appreciation Week and more

Life Choices Baby Bottles Due: Lower school students should return all Life Choices baby bottles, filled or unfilled, tomorrow. 
 
Teacher Appreciation Week is April 29-May 3: This is a week that we show appreciation to our teachers and staff and spoil them a bit. PTF needs your help! Lower School Class Pictures: Class pictures for Lower School students will be Wednesday, April 17th. Kindergarten - 6th grade students should wear their red emblem polo shirt for class pictures. They will start taking pictures immediately following the opening prayer, so please be sure to have your child(ren) at school on time for picture day. Order forms will be sent home by this Friday.
