Lunch Orders Open, Early Dismissal/Extended Care, 3rd-6th Grade Basketball

Lunch Orders Open: Lunch orders for the weeks of November 2nd - 13th are now open. Lunch orders are due by the end of the day Thursday, October 29th.
 
3rd-6th Basketball Registration: The registration form for 3rd-6th basketball can be found in the Eagle Weekly email. Forms and payments are due by Thursday, October 22nd. Please turn them in to the front office or your child’s teacher. Checks are payable to the CCS Booster Club.
 
Virtual Community Helper Parade: Our Preschool-Kindergarten Community Helper Parade will be streamed live on the Conway Christian YouTube channel Wednesday, October 28th at 8:30. Please click on the link below to watch.
 
Early Dismissal and Extended Care: We will have early dismissal Wednesday, October 28th, for teacher/staff professional development. The lower school will dismiss at 11:45. The upper school will dismiss at noon. Extended Care will be available for preschool - 6th grade students who are not registered with the extended care program during Professional Development from 11:45a.m. - 3:00p.m. Please contact Kristie Burford at kburford@conwaychristianschool.net by Monday, October 26th if you will be using this service for the professional development day ONLY. School lunch will not be provided. Please send a sack lunch with your child if they are staying. Extended Care for students that are registered with the extended care program will be available until 6:00p.m.
 
PTF No Uniform Day Fundraiser: The next No Uniform Day fundraiser will be Thursday, October 29th. Students who would like to participate must pay $5.00 per no uniform day. Lower school students may bring $5 on the morning of the no uniform day and pay at the front door. Upper school students should pay Mrs. Martin.
 
In addition, parents may pay ahead of time through PTF’s Square account, which can be accessed here: https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/
 
There will be a checklist at both campuses for students who have paid online through Square.
 
On no uniform days, students may wear hats and caps, sportswear including athletic shorts (shorts must be uniform length), and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops, pajamas or costumes. Dress must be modest and neat.

Fun Run Money Due, Lunch Orders Due, Movie Night

1st Annual Lower School Fun Run: Conway Christian School PTF is excited to present the 1st Annual, CCS FUN RUN. This is a lower school fundraiser that promotes fun, health, and fitness. We need your support and help to encourage everyone to get involved. The PTF’s goal is for each student to raise at least $100.00 in pledges. The money raised will help support the library, teacher education and enrichment, student events, and various school projects. The Fun Run will take place at Conway Christian on Thursday, October 15th for 3rd - 6th grade and Friday, October 16th for K5 - 2nd grade. Please return the pledge form and money by the end of the day today. 
 
Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of October 19-30 are due by the end of the day this Thursday, October 15th.
 
Homecoming Week Movie Night: Homecoming Week continues with a Drive-In movie tonight on the gravel lot behind the school. We will be showing Monster House beginning at 8:00pm.  This event is open to both Upper and Lower school students. The price is $2 per person. Dress up days for both campuses for the rest of the week are listed below. All clothing should be appropriate for a Christian school.  
 
Lower School: 
Wednesday, October 14 - Class Match (contact your child’s home room mom for details)
Thursday, October 15 - Spirit Day (wear CCS attire or blue and white) with crazy socks and hats 
Friday, October 16 - Spirit Day (wear CCS attire or blue and white) with crazy socks and hats 
 
Upper School:
Wednesday - Social Media/Meme Day: Dress up as anything from a meme or pop culture sensation - be appropriate. 
Thursday - Camo/Hunting Day: Dress up in camo ready to hunt the Yellville Panthers on Friday! No guns or knives, please. 
Friday - Clown Day: Dress up in full circus clown attire. This will also be the theme for the Homecoming Night game.
 
Yearbooks on Sale Now: Lower School students may order their yearbook by going online HERE. The cost is $50 (including tax). Students in the Upper School receive a yearbook as part of their tuition; additional copies may be purchased.
