Lower School Awards Assembly, Lower School Spirit Day, Early Dismissal, Back to School Information

Eagle Weekly:
Lower School Awards Assembly: We invite our parents to join us at 10:00 this Thursday morning in the gym for the lower school’s end of the year awards assembly. Perfect attendance, honor roll and Crown awards will be announced.
Lower School Spirit Day: Our Lower School Spirit Day for grades kindergarten through 6th grade will be Thursday May 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We are celebrating the end of another great year at Conway Christian and have several fun activities planned for your children. All activities this year will take place outside. Here are a few things you need to know to help your child have a safe, fun-filled day:
Students may wear uniform length athletic shorts with their spirit day t-shirt and shoes suitable for water play.
Centennial Bank will be providing lunch (the lunch has been changed to hamburgers and chips) for the students. If your child does not want a hamburger, the child may bring lunch.
Water will be provided throughout the day. The students will be spending a significant amount of time in the sun. If they burn easily, please send sunscreen.
Paletas (homemade ice cream bars from Las Delicias) will be served to all kids
Activities for grades K-6th may include water activities. You may send a towel and a change of clothes with your child so they can change if needed. Change of clothes must be uniform length athletic shorts/CCS t-shirt. If your child does not want to participate in the water activities, alternative activities will be provided.

Early Dismissal: We will have early dismissal this Friday, the last day of school. The lower school will be dismissed at 11:45, and the upper school will be dismissed at noon.

Please be sure to check out the Back to School page for important information, significant dates and forms necessary to begin the new school year.

Water Bottles, Basketball Uniforms Due, Lower School Art Contest and more

Water Bottle Reminder: As the weather warms up, please remember to send a water bottle to school with your child every day. Students need to stay hydrated while running and playing on the playground.
Lower School Basketball Uniforms: If you have not returned your child’s basketball uniform, please do so as soon as possible.
PTF No Uniform Day Fundraiser: The May no uniform day fundraiser will be this Thursday, May 12th. Lower school students may bring $5 on the morning of the no uniform day and pay at the front door. Upper school students can turn in their money to Mrs. Martin. In addition, parents may pay ahead of time through PTF’s Square account, which can be accessed here: https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/. On no uniform days, students may wear hats and caps, sportswear including athletic shorts (shorts must be uniform length), and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops or pajamas. Dress must be modest and neat.
