The PTF auction is this weekend! Make plans to join us Saturday night at 6:30 pm at the Brick Room in downtown Conway. We still have a few tickets available at the Eagles Nest if you are interested. To view our auction items ahead of time, click here. You can also use this link to bid on items if you can't attend the auction in person. This is going to be a fantastic event whether you experience it in person or online! All proceeds benefit Conway Christian and its pursuit of excellence!

Chick-Fil-A Lunch Orders Due; Thursday Lunches Open; Eagles Nest March Madness Sale

Chick-Fil-A Lunch: Tomorrow is the choir’s Chick-Fil-A fundraiser lunch. Lower School students may order this lunch through ParentsWeb until 3:00 this afternoon. Upper School students can pick up an order form in the Upper School office. 
 
Thursday Lunches Open: Thursday Fundraiser lunches, pizza and Chick-fil-A ordered through Parentsweb, are open for ordering for the month of March. These lunches will close by 3PM each Wednesday for that week's lunch.
 
Eagles Nest Sale: March Madness!! This Friday, March 1st, we will begin our “March Madness Sale”.  Everything in the store will be marked 45% off!  Whether you need items for the remainder of this year or need to stock up for next year, you do not want to miss this sale! You can purchase your items in the store or online.  Items purchased online will need to use the Coupon Code: Madness
 
Auction: The PTF auction is fast approaching! Make plans to join us this Saturday night at the Brick Room in downtown Conway. We will have great food, fun and fellowship while bidding on some awesome silent and live auction items. All proceeds go directly to supporting our students and teachers in the classroom and around campus. To purchase tickets ($30 each), please visit the Eagles Nest. The CCS senior class is hosting a Parent’s Night Out during the auction to raise money for their senior class trip. For more information click here. 
 
Drama Spring Play: Preparations are underway for this year’s drama play, “Best in the West”.  Come join us on March 14, 2019 and enjoy a fun time of entertainment from the CCS drama club cast! Shows are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (elementary matinee) and 7:00 p.m. Cost of admission is $5.
 
Choir Performance: For their second annual Dessert and Coffee night, the Conway Christian Jr/Sr High Choir presents - Let’s Go to The Movies! Bring the whole family and enjoy wonderful music, fabulous desserts and fun fellowship. Performance will be Saturday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Save the Date: The first annual Conway Christian School EagleFest will be Saturday, April 6th. Make plans to join us for crawfish, kickball and lots of family fun! More details coming soon.

Reminder for Morning Drop-Off for Lower School Students: Per the 2018-2019 Lower School Parent & Student Handbook: The front door to the elementary building will open at 7:45 am.  Students in grades kindergarten through sixth need to go directly to the Commons. For student safety, please drop off all k-6th grade children at the front entrance of the Lower School so they can be adequately supervised. 
 
Dr. Seuss Day: On February 27th, the Lower School will be celebrating Dr. Seuss. Lower School students may wear Dr. Seuss attire or dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. Those students who do not participate must wear their school uniform.

From the Nurse's Office, President's Day, Yearbook Order Deadline

From the Nurse’s Office: If your child has a confirmed flu diagnosis by their doctor, please keep them home from school for 48 hours from the time of diagnosis.  Your child must be fever free without the assistance of medication for 24 hours before returning to school. Additionally, if your child has been vomiting, he/she cannot return to school unless it has been 24 hours since the last incident. Thank you for helping us prevent the spread of sickness by following these guidelines.
 
Valentine’s Day Dress Code: Lower School students may wear a Valentine t-shirt or a CCS t-shirt and blue jeans tomorrow for Valentine’s Day.
 
President’s Day: School will be closed Monday, February 18th in honor of President’s Day. Learn some interesting facts with the family on our day off about our first president, George Washington, at mountvernon.org.  
 
Yearbook (PK2 - 6th grade): Don’t miss out on getting a yearbook! This Friday, February 15th is the deadline to order. The cost is $45, order online HERE or send cash or check with your student payable to: Conway Christian Yearbook. (Students in grades 7-12 receive a yearbook as part of tuition, but you can order additional copies.) Only 28 copies remain for purchase. Don’t delay!

Eagle Compliments, Open House and more

Eagle Compliments: CCS PTF has started “Eagle Compliments,” which is an opportunity for parents/faculty/staff to brag on CCS employees for going above and beyond to help others (whether it be a student or a colleague). Compliments can be placed in a box located in the lower and upper school office or by submitting an email to ptfconwaychristian@gmail.com. 
 
Selected compliments will be featured on social media. We hope this is an avenue to encourage others!
 
Choir Performance: For their second annual Dessert and Coffee night, the Conway Christian Jr/Sr High Choir presents - Let’s Go To The Movies! Bring the whole family and enjoy wonderful music, fabulous desserts and fun fellowship. Performance will be Saturday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Open Houses Announced: We will be hosting two Open House events for prospective new families. They are scheduled for February 12th and 26th at 8:30am in the Lower School Media Center. For more information please direct interested families to the school’s website or our social media accounts.
