Lunch Orders Open, PTF No Uniform Day Fundraiser and more

Lunch Orders Open: Lunch orders for the weeks of February 1st - 12th are now open. Orders will close at the end of the day Thursday, January 28th. 
 
PTF No Uniform Day:  The January PTF No Uniform Day fundraiser is Thursday, January 28th. Students may bring $5 with them and pay at the door. You may also pay online with Square (https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/) until 3:00pm Wednesday, January 27th. On no uniform days, students may wear hats and caps, sportswear including athletic shorts (shorts must be uniform length), and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops, pajamas, or costumes. Dress must be modest and neat. 
 
Virtual Open House: Do you have friends or family that would like to be a part of our CCS family? Invite them to register here for one of our virtual open house sessions to be held at 8:30am on January 26th and February 9th. Any new family who attends the virtual open house and submits an application will receive the $75 application fee waived.

From the Conway Christian Board of Trustees - 2021-22 Enrollment Information

Dear Parents,
 
Thank you for partnering with Conway Christian during this unprecedented year. In our opinion, your commitment to a Jesus-focused, college preparatory, and safe educational environment has never been more appreciated or necessary. This school year we have been committed to helping students “soar” to the highest of highs while never wavering from our core values of faith, wisdom, integrity, growth, and love! The Board of Trustees is so grateful for your partnership with CCS. 
 
January and February are our times for current student re-enrollment. Several years ago we began perpetual re-enrollment for all students, which means your currently enrolled student's spot is reserved annually by paying the re-enrollment fee through your family FACTS account. There are no re-enrollment forms to complete for students currently enrolled. 
 
On Friday, January 22nd the re-enrollment fee for your student(s) will be invoiced to your family FACTS account. To secure your student’s spot for August 2021, the re-enrollment fee is due by February 26th, 2021.  If you need some flexibility in paying your fee, or if your family has other plans for next school year, please contact the business office at (501) 336-9067, ext. 111 prior to the deadline.
 
The tuition for 2021-2022 has increased by approximately $21 per month per student. This increase is in line with the last few years and has been approved simply to meet the needs for teacher compensation and our annual operating costs. We encourage you to visit the school’s website for a complete tuition schedule. 
 
 
In addition, please know we are committed to providing financial assistance for families who qualify. If you, or a family you know, needs help affording Conway Christian, please notify the business office as our staff is eager to assist. Don’t let finances be the reason you or someone else doesn’t attend Conway Christian.
 
Also, remember to look into how current tax laws allow you to take advantage of tax deductions for private education when you use a 529 plan to pay tuition. We advise you to contact a tax specialist or accountant to get specific information.

Lunch Orders Due, Virtual Open House, School Holiday

Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of January 18-29 are due by the end of the day this Thursday, January 14th. 

Face Masks: Please ensure that your child(ren) have their face mask with them for school each day. All students must have their face mask on prior to entering the building.
 
School Closing: We will not have school next Monday, January 18th in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Lunch Orders Open, New Student Enrollment for 2021-22 and more

New Student Enrollment Open: New student enrollment for existing CCS families is now open. If you have a child who is not currently enrolled at CCS, but would like to enroll them for the upcoming school year, click here to go to the application page. Our re-enrollment process for current students will begin soon. Please be on the lookout for that information in the coming weeks. 
 
Lunch Orders Open: Lunch orders for the weeks of January 18th - 29th are now open. Orders will close the end of the day Thursday, January 14th.
 
Christmas Cards for Nursing Home Residents: One of our former 2nd grade teachers, Mrs. Alice Donar, collects Christmas cards to recycle and donate to nursing home residents each Christmas. If you have any Christmas cards, new or used, that you would like to donate, please send them to school with your child and we will be sure Mrs. Donar receives them.
