Lunch Orders, PTF No Uniform Day, Family Fun Night Cake Walk Sign-Up, CCS Country Music Festival
Student EFA Account Payment Information: Student EFA accounts have now been funded and are ready for the 2nd quarter tuition payments to be made. Please log into your account and approve the payment by the end of this week.
Lunch Orders Due: Lunch Orders for the weeks of November 4th - 15th are due by the end of the day this Thursday, October 31st. Please log into your Family Portal account and check the lunch calendar to confirm that your child’s lunches have been ordered. Orders in blue have been completed and processed. Orders in red have not been processed, and those lunches will not show up on our lunch reports.
PTF No Uniform Fundraiser: The October PTF no uniform day fundraiser will be this Thursday, October 31st. Elementary students may bring $5 on the morning of the no uniform day and pay at the front door. Intermediate and high school students can turn in their money at the office to Mrs. Turner. In addition, parents may pay ahead of time through PTF’s Square account, which can be accessed here: https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/
On this edition of No Uniform Day, students may wear costumes appropriate for a Christian school. For example, athletic uniforms, superhero costumes, teacher look-alikes, etc. No masks are allowed. If they don’t wear costumes, sportswear including athletic pants, shorts, and jeans are allowed (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops. Dress must be modest and neat.
CCS Country Music Festival: This Saturday, November 2nd, the Conway Christian Music Department is hosting our first Country Music Festival! Enjoy live music featuring musicians Britton Taylor, Callie Kakalia, Alice Weaver, and more! Sample chili from our faculty/staff chili cook-off and vote on which chili is your favorite! Play games, run around, and enjoy the cool autumn air to celebrate it finally being fall! Please spread the word and consider making plans to enjoy a fun night with us. Admission is $10 which will go toward the CCS band and choir programs funding new music, instruments, competition fees and more. Doors open at 5 pm and the event begins at 5:30.
CCS Family Fun Night: Join us Thursday, November 7th from 4:00 - 7:30 pm in the high school parking lot for the 3rd annual Conway Christian Family Fun Night! The CCS PTF is excited to invite you and your family to this fun evening of fair rides, games & activities for all ages (including a cake walk, photo booth, face painting, & a pie-in-the-face for some of your beloved CCS Staff!), and carnival foods! You won’t want to miss this great opportunity to meet other CCS families while making great memories with your own! There will be a $15 entry fee for riders 36” and taller (cash only – ATM will be available). Free entry for non-riders. Concessions and Carnival Games will be available for purchase separately (cash or card accepted).

Early Dismissal and Extended Care: We will have early dismissal Wednesday, November 6th for teacher/staff professional development. Elementary students will dismiss at 1:30. Sixth - 12th grade students will dismiss at 1:45. Extended Care will be available for preschool - 6th grade students who are not registered with the extended care program during Professional Development from 1:30 - 3:00. Please contact Kristie Burford at kburford@conwaychristianschool.net by this Friday, November 1st if you will be using this service for the professional development day ONLY. Extended Care for students that are registered with the extended care program will be available until 6:00p.m.
Save the Date: Preschool and Elementary Grandparents Day will be held on Friday, February 14th. More details, including times and program information, coming at a later date.

Individual musicians or bands are welcome, but individuals must provide live accompaniment or a backing/karaoke track. Auditions will be held on Monday, October 28th after school.

East German Lane Improvement Update: The city of Conway will be paving East German Lane starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16th - Friday, October 18th between Oak St. and Mockingbird Lane. If you normally use this route for school activities, you may want to allow extra time or choose an alternate route for the remainder of this week.

CCS Band and Choir Spirit Night at Tacos4Life: Show your support for our Conway Christian Band and Choir by coming out to our first Spirit Night at Tacos4Life! Tonight, October 1st between 5 and 9 pm, tell the cashier you're here for the CCS Band/Choir fundraiser and 20% of the money from your meal is donated to our music department. This money is used to pay for instruments, competition fees, music, and everything else our students need to thrive. Please make plans to come enjoy delicious tacos and support our music programs!
