Year End Giving Options
December 21, 2018
The end of the year is a perfect time to make your contribution to the Conway Christian
Annual Fund. Why the Annual Fund you might ask? Because we use Annual Fund contributions as the primary resource for Conway Christian’s quest for schoolwide improvement. The projects we’ve been able to accomplish over the past two years have all been made possible by our Annual Fund donors. Please know all gifts to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible because our school is registered as a 501(c)3 organization. So this is a tax-wise giving option for your family to consider.
If you’re interested, there are many ways to make a contribution to Conway Christian. The most common is by check. To make sure it counts toward your 2018 taxes just make sure it’s postmarked by Dec. 31st and mailed to us at 500 East German Lane, Conway AR 72032. We also have an online option if you’d prefer to use a debit/credit card. See the giving section on our website. Lastly, we can accept gifts of stocks and securities as well. For information on how to donate them please contact Mr. Carson and he can assist you.
Every gift is a blessing and will be used to continue our pursuit of excellence!

Early Dismissal; Lost & Found; Save the Date

Save the Date: The PTF’s annual auction event is scheduled for March 2nd. It will be held at the Brick Room in downtown Conway beginning at 6:00 pm. This is a wonderful event that supports our entire school. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Eagles Nest. Save the date and get your tickets soon!
Early Dismissal Reminder: This Friday, December 21st, the Lower School will dismiss at 11:45am and Upper School will dismiss at 12:00 pm for the Christmas holiday break. Also, please be advised there will be no extended care provided.
Lost and Found: There are several items including shoes, clothing, coats, jackets and hoodies in the Lost & Found at both campuses. Lost & Found items at the Lower School are hanging in the main hallway in front of the library. A Lost and Found table is set up in front of the office at the Upper School. All items not claimed by Thursday, December 20 will be donated to a local charity.
Basketball Concession Volunteers - Please sign up here if you can help.
ARKANSAS BLOOD INSTITUTE BLOOD DRIVE - We need 30 people to sign up to give blood this Friday, December 21st from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. If our goal of 30 people is met, ABI will award one of our senior students a $250 scholarship. We have 10 people on our list as of today. Please email Mrs. Lea, llea@
January Fundraiser Lunches: Pizza and Chick-fil-A Thursday lunches are open for ordering for the month of January through your Parentsweb account. Little Bites’ lunches for January have not yet been opened for ordering.

A Night of Worship; Christmas Cards Needed; Lost & Found

Conway Christian Choir presents a Night of Christmas Worship at 6:30pm tomorrow night, December 13 @ Harlan Park Baptist Church.
Christmas Cards Needed: Former Conway Christian 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Alice Donar, is collecting Christmas cards to deliver to veterans and nursing home residents. If you would like to donate new or used Christmas cards, please drop them off at either office.

Our Lower School Bowl-a-Thon was a success once again this year, with students raising over $17,000. Mrs. Crow’s first grade was the overall class winner and will enjoy their prize of a lunch trip to Chick-fil-a next week. Kinleigh Johnson was the overall individual winner with Cooper Henry placing 2nd, and LJ Scott and Ethan Donalson tying for 3rd place.
