Online Auction Open, Lunch Orders Due, PTF No Uniform Day, Early Dismissal

CCS Auction: The CCS auction is this week and will be held online only. Bidding is open today, February 23 through 8pm this Thursday, February 25th.

Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of March 1st -12th are due by the end of the day this Thursday, February 25th.
PTF No Uniform Day: The February PTF No Uniform Day fundraiser is this Thursday, February 25th. Students may bring $5 with them and pay at the door. You may also pay online with Square (https://conway-christian-
Wednesday, February 24th. On no uniform days, students may wear hats and caps, sportswear including athletic shorts (shorts must be uniform length), and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops, pajamas, or costumes. Dress must be modest and neat.
Early Dismissal Friday, February 26: We will have early dismissal this Friday, February 26th to allow our teachers and staff to receive their 2nd Covid vaccination. The Lower School will dismiss at 1:45 p.m. and the Upper School will dismiss at 2:00 p.m.
Celebrating Dr. Seuss: Kindergarten - 6th grade students will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday Tuesday, March 2nd. Students may dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. Birthday cupcakes will be served during the student’s regular lunch time. Students not dressing up should wear their regular uniform.

Inclement Weather Policy, Lunch Orders Due, Virtual Learning Day

Inclement Weather Policy: Over the next few days, forecasters are calling for a decent chance of winter precipitation. Here are a few ways you can find out if our school is impacted.

If Conway Public Schools close their campuses, our campus will be closed as well. So, if you see that on TV, online, etc. know Conway Christian will have a virtual day instead of having students on campus. Teachers will send out information regarding assignments.

If you can’t find information on Conway Public then make sure you are following us on social media to see what decision has been made. You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or download our App.

We will do everything within our power to make a decision by 7:00AM Thursday morning at the very latest. If you are hesitant at all, based on where you live and any potential hazardous road conditions, just choose to be safe. Your safety is always more important than being at school on time.

In case of inclement weather, all lunch orders will be credited to your family’s FACTS account.

Virtual School Day: This Friday, February 12th will be a virtual school day for students. Parent/Teacher conferences can be scheduled for virtual or in person meetings from 12:30-3:30. Please contact your child’s teacher if you would like to schedule a conference. All activities (games, practices, etc.) planned for Friday afternoon/evening will proceed as planned.
Lower School Dress for This Thursday: In honor of our Valentine’s Day parties, all lower school students may wear Valentine themed t-shirts and jeans this Thursday. In case of inclement weather, Valentine parties will be rescheduled.
CCS Auction: The 4th annual CCS auction will be held exclusively online this year from February 22-25. If you know a family or business that would like to donate any items for the auction, please contact Jessica Havard ((501) 339-5910) or Tracy Witcher ((501) 766-5117) by Wednesday, February 17th.

Virtual School Day: This Friday, February 5th will be a virtual school day for our K5-12th grade in order to allow our faculty and staff to receive their Covid vaccination. Pre-K students will not receive virtual instruction on Friday. All activities (games, practices, etc.) planned for Friday afternoon/evening will proceed as planned.
