School Dismissal; Spirit Day and more
March 29, 2018
Good Friday: There will be no school this Friday, March 30 in observance of Good Friday.
Spirit Day: Due to school dismissal on Friday, we will have Spirit Day Thursday. Students may wear Conway Christian t-shirts and jeans.
Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for Thursday March 29 - Friday April 4 will close at the end of the day today.
Please be sure to check with your child's teacher regarding field trips and special events that would impact your lunch order.
Terra Nova Testing: Terra Nova testing will be next week, April 2 - 6. Upper school testing begins promptly at 8:00 each morning. Lower school testing begins at 8:20am. It is very important for students to be here on time each day. Please do not schedule appointments during testing times. Absentees should be emergencies only. To help students do their very best on their tests, they should get plenty of rest each night, eat a healthy breakfast each morning and bring a healthy snack to school. Thank you for your help in each of these areas.
Tim Hawkins Live: One of the funniest guys on the planet is coming to Conway in support of our school. Tickets are going fast so make sure to be part of the gut busting laughter by purchasing your tickets to one of two shows on Saturday, April 7. Show times are 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Choir Performance: There are only 4 tickets left for Conway Christian Choir’s performance of “Be Our Guest”: A Night of Disney and Desserts. This special performance will be Saturday, April 14 at 6:30pm in the gym. Admission is free. You may reserve the final 4 tickets by clicking this link.
“Feed My Starving Children” Mobile Pack Outreach: Friday, April 13, 2018, at the Conway Expo Center from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.. All 7th - 12th students will attend. Parents are invited to join in this outreach. We are in need of 30 more volunteers. Please email Mrs. Martin at hmartin@conwaychristianschool.net as soon as possible if you want to join the group.
Kanakuk Kamp: Kanakuk Kamp is coming back to Conway Christian! Dates for the camp will be June 18 - 22. Click here to register.

Early Dismissal Tomorrow: Friday, March 16 the Lower School will dismiss at 11:45am. Upper School dismissal is at 12:00pm.
Lunch Orders: Lunches for the dates including March 26 - March 29 are now open for ordering. Lunch orders will close at the end of Wednesday, March 21st. To volunteer to assist with serving lunch, please sign up here: http://www.signupgenius.com/
Lower School Lost and Found: There are several coats, jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies in our Lost & Found. Please look through lost and found items displayed in the main hallway of the Lower School if your child is missing any clothing. All items not claimed by Friday, March 16 will be donated to a local ministry.

School Calendar for 2018-19:Ready to set your calendar for next year? Our school calendar, featuring key dates, is available by clicking here.
Treasure Island: Our Upper School students are working hard in preparation for this year’s school production. Treasure Island will be performed next Thursday, March 15 at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. Tickets are $5. All Lower School students will view the play at the 1:00pm performance. Make plans to come out and support our drama department.
Administrative Assistant Position for 2018-19: We are accepting applications for a Lower School administrative assistant job for next school year. This is a 12 month position.
