Good Friday Holiday, Lunch Orders Due DATE CHANGE, Kanakuk KampOut and more

Campus Closed: Our campus will be closed this Friday, April 2nd in observance of Good Friday.
Lunch Orders Due: Due to school being closed this Friday for Good Friday, this week’s lunch orders are due by the end of the day Wednesday, March 31st (TOMORROW).
Kanakuk KampOut: Save the date and mark your calendars for June 28-July 2.CCS will be hosting Kanakuk KampOut Day Kamp Adventure this year. Sign up now! Register at www.cometokamp.com

Kids Run Arkansas Virtual Run: Kids Run Arkansas® is going virtual this year! Kids Run Arkansas® is presented by Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center and the title sponsor is Groovy Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. For the virtual event, participants can complete the 1-mile or 3-mile run/walk anytime April 17 - 24.This link will take you directly to the Run Sign-Up registration link: https://runsignup.com/

Each year, the schools with the highest percentage of participation are awarded scholarships for their physical education programs. In 2019, over 1,000 participated from 43 different schools across Arkansas with $8,000 in scholarships awarded!

Video From Mr. Carson, Town Hall Next Week and more

Mr. Carson shares specific details about our capital campaign/building project including what our transformed campus will look like along with floor plans and renderings of the new building.
Town Hall: Next Tuesday, March 16th, at 6:00pm Mr. Carson will hold an in person and virtual town hall meeting. The meeting will be designed to go into more detail about our capital campaign and building project as well as discussing Conway Christian’s role in our nation's education system as it relates to issues facing America now and into the future. He will also give a state of the school highlighting accomplishments, areas for improvement and strategic initiatives moving forward. If you plan to attend in person, please come with a mask and plan on socially distancing with us in the gymnasium. If you would like to join online, we will send out a link next week.
Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of March 15th - April 2nd are due by the end of the day this Thursday, March 11th.
Music In Our Schools Picture Contest: In observance of Music in Our Schools Month, the CCS choir and band are hosting a picture contest for 3rd - 6th grade students. Pictures are due to home room teachers by this Friday, March 12th. Click on the attachment in your email to learn more about how to enter the contest. Drama: Drama Club has a limited number of tickets available to our production of Pride and Prejudice on March 14 at 5:00 and 7:30. Tickets are $5. You may reserve tickets by emailing Mrs. Shelton at lshelton@
Lower School Class Pictures: Lower School class pictures are scheduled to be taken on Wednesday, March 17th. Please make sure that your child(ren) is on time as there will be no make-up day for class pictures. Please have your child(ren) wear a red polo and uniform bottoms on this day. Preschool students do not have to wear uniform attire. If your child is in Ms. Ana’s Tuesday/Thursday class, pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, March 16th.

Lower School Basketball Team Pictures: This Friday we will take basketball team pictures for the yearbook. If your child is still playing in the elementary school tournament have them come dressed in their basketball top, with jeans or shorts. If your child has already turned in their uniform, we will take care of getting them passed out before the pictures are taken. Please just have them come to school in a t-shirt.
Lunch Orders Open: Lunch orders for the weeks of March 15th - April 2nd are open. Orders will close at the end of the day Thursday, March 11th.
Masks and Water Bottles: Parents, please remember to send a mask and water bottle to school with your child(ren). Students should have a mask on prior to exiting your vehicle. We do not keep extra water bottles in the office or classrooms. Your child(ren) may use the water fountains to refill their water bottles. For Lower School students, it would be helpful to send a water bottle that can stay at school.
Eagles Nest Spring Sale: Everything in the store has been marked down 50%! Shop online, and we will send your purchase home with your student.

Choir: This March, music educators and music students will be celebrating music education in their school communities demonstrating how “Music:The Sound of My Heart” resonates with them. This is the theme of the 2021 observance of Music In Our Schools Month®. The Conway Christian Choir & Band members hope you will watch for and enjoy our posts this month.
