Lunch Orders; Morning with Mom; Kids Run Arkansas Scholarship; Lost & Found

Lunch Orders: Lunches for May 1st - 19th are open for ordering. Orders for May 1st - 5th will close at the end of the day this Thursday, April 27th. Orders for May 8th - 19th will close at the end of the day Thursday, May 4th. There will be no hot lunches served the last week of school, May 22nd - 26th.
 
Lower School Morning with Mom: We invite all PK2 - 6th grade moms to enjoy a time of fun, fellowship and refreshments with your child in their classroom this Friday morning, April 28th from 7:45 - 8:30.
 
Kids Run Arkansas: Thank you to all CCS families who participated in Kids Run Arkansas. Because of your participation, we received a $500 scholarship award to benefit our P.E. program.
 
New K-3 Class Opening: We have opened an additional K3 class for the 2017-2018 school year. This will be a flex class which allows parents to choose the 3 or 5 ½ day option. If you or someone you know is interested in this class please call 336-9067 for more information.
 
Spirit Day Dress Code: All kindergarten - 12th grade students, teachers, and staff may wear blue jeans and a CCS t-shirt this Friday.
 

Thank You: We want to thank you for your cooperation getting all of our students, your kids, home safely during our early dismissal due to the severe weather yesterday. The safety of our students, families, faculty and staff is of the utmost importance to us.

Lost and Found: There are several coats, jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies in the Lost & Found at both campuses. Lost & Found items at the Lower School are hanging in the main hallway in front of the library. Upper School Lost & Found is located in front of the office. All items not claimed by Friday, May 5th will be donated to a local charity.

Crawl, Drag and Squirt Results: Congratulations to the following students who have qualified to represent Conway Christian in the Crawl, Drag and Squirt competition at Toad Suck Daze: Bella Tapp, Milan Stainton, Chezney Stone, Jack Lawrence, Macy Helton and Baron Mannis. Go Eagles!!

Golf Tournament Information: The 11th annual Conway Christian Booster Club Golf Tournament will be held this coming Monday, April 24 at Conway Country Club. The Booster Club invites you to join us in supporting our student-athletes who compete in our various AAA sanction teams offered at Conway Christian. This event is the athletic department’s largest annual fundraiser with the money raised used to directly support our student-athletes. We’re asking each Conway Christian family (PreK - 12th grade) to be a part of the golf tournament by volunteering, sponsoring or competing in the event. Reminder on School Rules: We require all visitors to check in at the school office to gain permission and an ID badge before proceeding into the main building. Also, visitors are not allowed on the playground or in student/teacher only designated areas unless they receive prior approval from school leadership. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Kanakuk Kamp: Kanakuk Kamp is coming to Conway Christian School June 12-16, 2017. Click the link to register your 5 to 12 year old child, or for information about this exciting, Christian day camp. Good Friday Dismissal: Conway Christian School will be dismissed this Friday, April 14 in observance of Good Friday.
 
Lunch Order Deadline: You may order lunches for the weeks of April 17 - 28 through the end of the day today.
We need volunteers to serve lunch in April. Please click the link to sign up if you can serve lunch.
 
Kids Run Arkansas: Conway Christian has dropped to 6th place in the Kids Run Arkansas race! This 1 mile & 3 mile walk/run race is open to newborns (parents pushing strollers count) through 12th grade students in Faulkner County schools. Scholarships are awarded to schools based on the number of students participating, and benefit our Physical Education program. We want to take 1st place and win the highest scholarship awarded, so we need you to sign up now! Click here to register for the race. They have ordered a few extra t-shirts that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so register soon to get your t-shirt.
 
Class Pictures: Lifetouch Photography will take class pictures next Wednesday, April 19, for K2 - 11th grade.

This event is the main fundraiser of the year for the Athletic Department. The money raised goes directly to supporting our athletes. We’re asking each Conway Christian family (PreK - 12th grade) to be a part of the golf tournament by volunteering, sponsoring or competing in the event. The Sponsorship Form and Team Entry Form are attached.
 
2017-2018 Part-time Positions Available: Applications are currently being accepted for the following positions at Conway Christian School: Early Morning Child Care and Cafeteria Staff. The application and job description can be found on the school website.

School Calendar for 2017-18: The calendar for the 2017-18 school year, including the first day of school, holidays and early dismissal dates, is available to view on our website.
