Thank you from our PTF: Thank you to everyone who made our Spring It On Dance and Auction a success! Mrs. Moore’s 3rd grade class won the pizza party and no uniform day for the highest percentage of attendance at the dance.

Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of April 24th - May 5th are due this Thursday, April 20th. Please check your child’s schedule for field trips and upper school club/organization trips before placing your lunch orders. 

5th grade students should not order lunch for Tuesday, April 25th

8th grade students should not order lunch for April 27th - 28th

PTF No Uniform Fundraiser: The April PTF no uniform day fundraiser will be this Thursday, April 20th. Lower school students may bring $5 on the morning of the no uniform day and pay at the front door. Upper school students can turn in their money at the office to Mrs. Burbank. In addition, parents may pay ahead of time through PTF’s Square account, which can be accessed here: https://conway-christian-school-ptf.square.site/

On no uniform days, students may wear hats and caps (no hats or caps in the classroom), sportswear including athletic shorts (shorts must be uniform length), and jeans (no jeggings/leggings). Students may wear non-CCS t-shirts that are appropriate for a Christian school. Students may not wear tank tops or pajamas. Dress must be modest and neat. 

Early Dismissal and Extended Care: We will have early dismissal Wednesday, April 26th for teacher/staff professional development. The lower school will dismiss at 11:45. The upper school will dismiss at noon. Extended Care will be available for preschool - 6th grade students who are not registered with the extended care program during Professional Development from 11:45a.m. - 3:00p.m. Please contact Kristie Burford at kburford@conwaychristianschool.net by Monday, April 24th if you will be using this service for the professional development day ONLY. School lunch will not be provided. Please send a sack lunch with your child if they are staying. Extended Care for students that are registered with the extended care program will be available until 6:00p.m.

Lower School Spirit Day: Lower school (kindergarten - 6th grade) Spirit Day will be May 18th. Preschool Spirit Day is Wednesday, May 17th. Pop Tab Collection Week: CCS is excited to be participating in the pop top tab program to benefit the Ronald McDonald Charities of Arkansas.  This organization provides a “home away from home” including lodging and meals for families of children facing extended hospital stays in Little Rock. They also host a NICU family room at UAMS as well as a mobile dental unit that provides free dental care to schools around Arkansas. Please send your pop tabs to school in a Ziploc bag the week of April 24th - 28th. Let’s pull together to make a difference!  www.rmhcarkansas.org

Tornado Relief Fundraiser: This Thursday, April 13th, will be a No Uniform Day fundraiser for the victims impacted by the tornado that hit Little Rock on March 31st. All kindergarten - 12th grade students donating a minimum of $5.00 may participate in this No Uniform Day. Students may donate more than $5 if they choose to do so. All money collected from this fundraiser will be donated to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock to assist in their ministry to families impacted by the tornado.

Spring It On Sneaker Dance and Auction: The Spring It On Sneaker Dance and Auction is THIS Friday, April 14^th! This event will be held in Conway Christian’s Auditorium. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Bring your whole family out to enjoy everyone’s favorite dance songs, a photo booth with souvenir photos, desserts and door prizes – including $500 off of tuition for the 2023-2024 school year! Door prizes will be awarded throughout the night and only those present at the event will be eligible to win. Due to popular demand, the auction portion of the evening will be available online to both those in attendance and those who are unable to make it to the event. We have so many wonderful auction items available – including a weekend camper getaway, grill, sports camps, Razorback tickets, and so much more! CCS Yearbook: Lower School students, buy your yearbook today! Orders can be placed on yearbookforever.com. Type in Conway Christian School, and then follow the instructions to order. The deadline to order is Wednesday, April 12. Reminder: All 7th-12th grade students receive a yearbook as part of their tuition; only lower school students need to order.
