Kanakuk Kampout at Conway Christian: We are so excited to announce our partnership with Kanakuk Kamps by offering the first ever Kanakuk Kampout in Conway. This unique event will take place this summer, June 12th-16th and is for all children ages 5 thru 12. If you are familiar with Kanakuk you know they are the premiere Christian sports camp experience offering top level instructors and a one of a kind experience. Kampout is their way of bringing that experience to us, to Conway Christian and to the greater metro area. We will send signup information home with your Lower School aged child tomorrow. Lower School Dads and Donuts: Tomorrow is Dads and Donuts for preschool - 6th grade students.  Stop by your child’s class from 7:45 - 8:30 and enjoy coffee, juice and donuts. 

Spirit Day: Tomorrow is Spirit Day for Lower School and Upper school students, teachers and staff. You may wear a CCS t-shirt and jeans.

Family Night next Tuesday: It’s time again for a Conway Christian Family Night! Next Tuesday we will have no homework schoolwide to promote time for families to spend together. Please snap a picture of your time together and post it to social media with the hashtag #weareconwaychristian and #familynight. 

Dress Code: Reminder - Recently we changed our dress code in regards to jackets. During winter weather you may choose a jacket of any solid color and also wear those which feature small logos, such as a Columbia or North Face jacket. The rule is the logo has to be smaller than the diameter of a baseball. 

Chili Supper and Jump Rope for St. Joe Game: This Friday our basketball teams take on St. Joe at home. We encourage everyone to come out and support our Eagles in this important conference game matchup. The evening will feature a Chili Supper for families to enjoy together. The cost is $3 per bowl including all the fixings with proceeds going to support our athletic department. In addition to the games and chili supper our jump rope team will be performing at halftime of both senior high games. This will be a night you don’t want to miss!!! Go Eagles! 

Conway Christian Yearbooks: The deadline for elementary students to order a yearbook has been extended to February 1, 2017.  Each student is guaranteed to be featured in the yearbook.  To place your order, send your $45 payment to the school office in an envelope with your child’s name and Yearbook on the envelope.  All Upper School students receive a yearbook as it is included in the price of tuition.

Athletic Picture Day:  Basketball teams for 4th-12th grades and the senior high bowling team will take pictures next Tuesday, January 24, starting at 8:15 a.m. in the Upper School gym.  Please make sure your student brings their uniform to school.  You can go on the LifeTouch website to purchase prints: https://order.lifetouchsports.com/index.cfm?event=OrderHome&contractID=125228
