Spring It On Dance & Auction; Strategic Plan Meeting, Student Council Fundraiser, Lunch Orders Due

Spring It On Dance: The 2nd Annual Spring It On Dance & Auction is THIS Friday from 6-8 pm.  Tickets are available for purchase at the PTF Square site or you can purchase them at the door. Auction bidding is LIVE! Check out the awesome items we have online or come see them in person THIS Friday and get your bids in - auction closes Friday at 8 pm! For those who are present, we will have door prizes, including $500 off tuition for the 2024-2025 school year. The homeroom class with the highest percentage of attendance will win a no uniform day and pizza party! Don't forget to share the auction link with your family and friends!

Strategic Plan Meeting: Mr. Carson will hold a meeting tonight at 6:00pm to discuss our school’s current position and opportunities for growth. This is part of our new strategic planning process. Any current CCS parent is welcome to attend. The meeting will take place in the Upper School Commons, inside building C (gymnasium). 

Lunch Orders Due: Lunch orders for the weeks of April 15th - 26th are due by the end of the day this Thursday, April 11th. 

  • 5th grade students should not order lunch for Friday, April 19th


Eclipse Photos for Yearbook: CCS Yearbook wants to celebrate the eclipse with you! Please submit photos of you and your family enjoying the eclipse together for consideration for the yearbook. Photos can be emailed to

Student Council Fundraiser: Student Council is hosting a fundraiser next Tuesday, April 16, to raise money for Soaring Wings Ranch. Soaring Wings is a private, Christian program that provides care for kids in the foster care system. We will be hosting a no uniform day that is a minimum of a $5 donation on April 16th. We are fundraising in order to buy a new washer and dryer for Soaring Wings. This fundraiser is CASH ONLY! Elementary students may pay at the door. Intermediate and high school students may pay in the upper school office. 

Early Dismissal and Extended Care: We will have early dismissal Wednesday, April 17th for teacher/staff professional development. Elementary students will dismiss at 11:45. Sixth - 12th grade students will dismiss at noon. Extended Care will be available for preschool - 6th grade students who are not registered with the extended care program during Professional Development from 11:45a.m. - 3:00p.m. Please contact Kristie Burford at by this Friday, April 12th if you will be using this service for the professional development day ONLY. School lunch will not be provided. Please send a sack lunch with your child if they are staying. Extended Care for students that are registered with the extended care program will be available until 6:00p.m.

Elementary School Book Sale: We will be having a one-day book sale with Paperpie Books (formerly known as Usborne Books). It will be on April 23rd, from 10am - 3:30 pm. in the hallway across from the cafeteria/commons in the elementary school. Students will be able to come with their classes for a 15-minute time slot to purchase books.

Save the Date: Please make plans to join us as we celebrate Mr. Holt’s retirement at 4:00 pm Thursday, May 9th in the auditorium.  Additional details will be announced at a later date. 

Employment Opportunity: Conway Christian is looking for a lunch server at our Intermediate/High School for the upcoming school year. This will be a part time position with daily hours from 10:30am - 1:00pm when students are in school. If you are interested, please complete and return the employment application to the elementary office at your earliest convenience. 

POP TOP TABS DRIVE: CCS is excited to be participating in the pop top tab program to benefit the Ronald McDonald Charities of Arkansas.  Their organization provides a “home away from home” including lodging and meals for families of children facing extended hospital stays in Little Rock. They also host a NICU family room at UAMS as well as a mobile dental unit that provides free dental care to schools around Arkansas.   Let’s pull together to make a difference!

  • Start saving aluminum pop top tabs from drink cans at home
  • Collection dates at CCS:  April 22 - April 26, 2024 
  • You can send them to school in a Ziploc bag and drop them off in designated baskets
