POWDER PUFF GAME FUNDRAISER - This Thursday, November 7, the Student Council will host the annual CCS Powder Puff game! The game will be from 2:00pm - 3:00pm on Mission Field. All students 7th - 12th grade will have a spirit day (jeans and CCS t-shirt) and will need to pay $3 to attend the game. Parents are invited to attend at a cost of $3. Let’s all get together and enjoy a fun time!
CCS CHRISTMAS OUTREACH – It is once again time for Conway Christian to reach out and serve by packing Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We will ride the bus to The Go Store in downtown Conway and let our students purchase items to fill their shoeboxes. The following schedule will be observed: November 18: 9th & 10th grade, November 19: 11th & 12th grade, November 20: 7th & 8th grade. Students will need $10 to purchase items to pack a shoebox.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. The mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
